At everywhere: create your own event!

This year marks the third annual National BBQ Day: a celebration of locally sourced food across Canada. We want individuals, families and organizations to host their own BBQs this June 23rd using mostly locally produced products in support of local job creation and the local economy. Buying and eating local keeps money in the local economy, benefits the environment, and is truly the most delicious option for your dinner table - needless to say, we dig it
So how do you get involved? It's as easy as (locally-produced Apple Pie!). - Register at the Meal Exchange National BBQ Day website to host a BBQ for your chance to win a Napoleon BBQ Grill. - Invite your friends and family. - Stock up on some tasty local food and plan your menu. - Get grilling. - Tell us how it goes via email, Facebook or Twitter.
